HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOLL FACE!

To celebrate our 3rd birthday we have decided to take a much needed holiday.  Don't worry though, we will be back in the new year, bigger and better.  With a fresh face and a fresh range of gorgeous new bags, belts, jewels and more....

If you have a promotional voucher not due to expire until later in the year, hang onto it, as I have extended the expiry dates indefinitely. And there will be plenty of great buys when we return.

With March fast approaching I find myself in search of those new purchases to transform my wardrobe, ready for the coming season.  Yes it is still stinking hot!  But…. I did see someone wearing a cute pair of knee high boots just yesterday.  I am guessing she couldn’t  wait any longer, obviously a recent purchase now that new season collections are hitting the shelves.

Yes that is right… Autumn stock has started arriving at Doll Face, too.

Can you smell the fresh cut grass?  The perfume of the roses?  Can you hear the popping of champagne corks?  It's Melbourne Cup Day!  I just love race day!  All the girls in their pretty dresses and stunning fascinators, the gents dressed to kill in their best suits.

I'm sure you would all agree... it's not just about the big race.  The fashion, the headwear, the thrill of betting on the races, the day off work, pretty handbags accessorised perfectly to complete your most gorgeous outfit to date.  The dashing men looking better then we've ever seen them.  Could there be a bit of romance in the air?  It's hard not to get swept up in the flurry of excitement this day brings.

Thank you to everyone that came along to our Breast Cancer "Pink Party" Fundraiser, yesterday.  It was a great turn out and yet another successful event raising money for this very worthy cause.

I would also like to thank all my lovely customers for their support over the past 2 1/2 years.  It was a sad day yesterday, closing the doors for the last time.  It was so lovely to see so many of you, I really appreciate all your kind words of support and look forward to hopefully seeing you all again.

It is with great sadness that we have decided to close our Paddington store.  Unfortunately the GFC has taken its toll and I would rather close up for a while now then be forced to close forever should the economy not pick up.

Our last day will be 10th of October, so be sure to drop in and say good-bye before then.

All stock will be reduced from 10% - 50% off too, so why not pick yourself up a bargain or even start your Christmas shopping while you are in.

People often ask me why my choice of obsession was Handbags over Shoes!  Simple really... they don't give you blisters... ha ha! 

Don't get me wrong... I do love a gorgeous heel or funky pair of boots, but Handbags are truly and always will be my one true love.  You can give them a cuddle, they seem to go with more... in my wardrobe anyway... and they always seem to last longer for me, than my shoes.  They are just so practical, they carry my whole world and they make me look fabulous at the same time.  Do I need to say anymore...
